On December 05, 2013 University of Hyderabad is organising a Distinguished Lecture by Prof Richard Francis Gombrich, who is an Internationally well known Buddhist Scholar. This lecture seems to be coinciding with the December 06; the day on which the famous Indian Dalit Buddhist Dr B R Ambedkar passed-away way-back in 1956, after embracing Buddhism formally along with lakhs of his supporters. The details of this event can be followed as below;
In the Modern Indian Political History December 06 has got its own political significance, due to the death anniversary of Dr B R Ambedkar and demolition of Babri Masijid by the Right Wing Hindutva forces.
